I almost bought a replacement set of cartridges when mine quit working, then I found out that the chips can be replaced. I had my doubts, but for the money savings was willing to try it once. Only 2 of my cartridges quit resetting, but I ordered the complete set just in case, and good thing I did because just a week after replacing the bad ones, the remaining two quit working also. The chips are very simple to replace, no problems at all. So far, the new chips have been working for one month, lets see how long they last. The original cartridge chips lasted only 7 months.
