5 of 5 3500 color and 1200 B&W and it still printing! September 4, 2014

At almost 4000 total prints the darn thing is still printing strong. Not bad! I think the printer may break down before the ink tanks fail. Install was easy, but the piece that tells the printer that the lid is closed was missing. So I am using a bit of plastic for that. Overall great system!

Our Epson WF 3540 printers originally came with pigment ink that is more vivid than the InkxPro pigment ink we now use.  And I have tweaked the almost endless settings.

Original Epson ink is better for photographs on premium photo paper.

On two identical printers (WF 3540) the InkxPro 'dye' ink gave us a lot of headaches. (the only 2 printers we tried dye in in). Then we switched to pigment inks in this dispenser.

We have 4 Epson WF 3540 printers and we are very happy with the X-Pro Series Pigment Continuous Ink System on all 4 printers now.

I marked down one star due to the lack of brilliancy in the printed results. No serious biggie except it forces us to keep a couple of Canon printers around when we need the best of the best output (rare).  Our Epsons are fine running this ink system.

I would only give the InkxPro 'dye' ink in the same Epson printers 2 stars..

4 of 5 Overall good with minor issues December 8, 2013

After some kinks are worked out it is a very good system, I found the following minor issues though:

1- One of the inks (Yellow in this case) simply stopped flowing, I used a syringe to suck ink back in but not really sure how I restored the flow, once it did I had not more problems with that.

2- The regulators (I guess that is what they are) on the side kept getting unstuck, the double sided type used to fix them is not good enough I had to replace by another tape.

3- When printing in fast mode I ALWAYS get misaligned prints, not sure if this is due to the kit or a problem the printer has, when printing in normal or high quality it always works well.

This being the price of ONE set o cartridges for me is a no brainer even if you never refill it...

Very easy installation and worked immediately as though I'd just replaced the cartridges. Printed pages look good. I've only used it for printed material (no photos) and only for one day, but very pleased so far.
